John Fildes

FPL Asia Pacific Regional Committee
E. John Fildes is the Managing Director of Instinet Pacific, responsible for all the operations of Instinet in non-Japan Asia. Prior to this he was with Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong for 10 years where he held positions as the Head of Equity Marketing and Head of Electronic and Program Trading for the Institutional Equity Division in Asia-Pacific. Before that he was the Head of MSCI for Asia Pacific and was actively involved in the launch of MSCI futures contracts for Taiwan and Singapore on SIMEX. He is also the Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific FIX (Financial Information Exchange Protocol) Steering Committee and is active in promoting the protocol throughout the region. He has been a member of the Steering Committee since 2000. He has written and spoken extensively on the subject of FIX and Electronic Trading.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Mr. Fildes held various positions in Europe with the Financial Times Group, Standard and Poor's and Reuters and has an extensive knowledge of the financial information marketplace.
Prakash Natarajan

Prakash has been in the business for 18 years. He started his career as an Authorized Assistant and did business on the floor of the Chennai Stock exchange in 1990. He worked as a Head of India sales trading with Cazenove and also worked with ICICI Securities before moving to Franklin Templeton in May 2004.
Olivier Thiriet

Olivier Thiriet is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse, based in Tokyo. He has responsibility for Equity Program Trading in Asia Pacific, Electronic Trading across all asset classes in Asia-Pacific and Cash Equity Execution in Japan. He is also member of the Global Equity Operational Committee.
Mr Thiriet joined Credit Suisse in March 2001 from SG Cowen in New York. Prior to that, Mr Thiriet worked at Societe Generale in Paris, London and Tokyo.
Mr Thiriet holds a Master degree in Strategy and Management of International Business from ESSEC Business School.

Ravi Iyer joined Kotak Institutional Equities(KIE) in June 2007 as ED and co-head of KIE. He joined KIE from CLSA India, where he was a part of the Institutional Sales desk. He brings with him over 12 years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales, a part of this from an earlier stint in the Kotak group.

Srinivas Padmasola is Hong Kong-based Vice President of Electronic Trading for the Asia Pacific Region at Merrill Lynch. Previously, Srinivas worked for SWIFT in Mumbai and Hong Kong as well as a brief stint at Reuters. Srinivas has been an active member of FPL in the region and is the current co-chair of the Asia Pacific Education & Marketing Sub-Committee.

With over 20 years in the banking and financial industry, Himanshu has been the consultant for ICICI Brokerage Services, Edelweiss Capital Ltd., Kaycee Group , BRICS Securities, Pioneer group, Anand Rathi Group, Citigroup Wealth Advisors, HDFC Securities, Citigroup Venture Capital International, Aptivaa Consulting, Centrum Group, Standard Chartered Bank, SMC Group etc.
Himanshu has been elected as the Honorary Treasurer & Official Spokesman of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai for the year 2000 - 2001, and was the Director from 1999 - 2002.
Graduated at the University of Mumbai in 1985, Himanshu is a Chartered Accountant and has been guest lecturer at IIM-A, BSE Training Institute, Government Law College, Lehman Brothers India, LIC and at various national and international seminars on the capital market.

He is B. Com., Master of Management Studies form Mumbai University and M. Sc. (Economics) in International Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics. He has obtained FRM Certification from Global Association of Risk Professionals. He has over 16 years of experience in the Capital Markets. He has worked with DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd. for 14 years. During his tenure in DSP Merrill Lynch, he was Head of Debt Sales & Trading and Head of Equity Sales to FIIs. His last assignment was as Head of Derivatives. He has been involved in various committees and seminars to look into better functioning of the markets. He is working with Benchmark Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd. since April 2001. At Benchmark, he is responsible for investments.
P S Praveen

PS Praveen is India-based Country Manager for Transaction Network Services. Praveen has been an active member of FPL in the region and is instrumental in promoting FIX Committee in India. He is responsible for the FIX connectivity to Buysides, Sellsides and Exchanges in India. He has been educating the India community in FIX implementations from 2005.
Prior to this, Praveen was with Usha Comm India and USA. He has over 20 years of experience in variety of roles in Sales and Marketing in India with domain expertise in Telecom Networks, VoIP, Wireless Technologies, Payment Solutions, Billing and Customer care.
Gavin Williamson

Gavin Williamson joined HSBC in May 2005, initially working in London and then relocating to Hong Kong to work in Execution Trading, joining from Deutsche Bank in London where he worked as the Global Head of Institutional Execution services.
Prior to that he was Director and Head of Equity Electronic Trading with Salomon Smith Barney based in Hong Kong and Co-Chair of the Asia Pac regional FIX committee.
